What is Mental Sweat?
Mental Sweat Official was founded in 2021 as the result of 5+ years of travel by Justin Markowitz.

The Mental Sweat Official project is your supersite for eveything travel related.

Our mission is to promote the Adventure-Saga style of travel, focusing on helping people reset their nerves by escaping society, entering nature, and exploring their assumed paradigms about life.

The Adventure-Saga approach to travel is more than just a vacation, it's a method to take the invaluable lessons of travel and apply them to every-day life, whatever your lifestyle might be.

Our approach is designed for inquisitive people who know there is more to life than work and play. Life is about adventure, understanding yourself, and finding what you're meant to do.
What is Adventure Saga Philosophy?
Adventure-Saga is the idea that everyone has a deeper calling, or a destiny, in life and that with the right mindset you can discover what you're meant to do with your time on earth.

Modern society compels people to view life as a game of numbers, profit, and calculation. In this method of life, a person's humanity takes second precedent, and they lose sight of what's important like: healthy thoughts, strong connections with others and the earth, and gratitude.

To consider life an Adventure Saga, one combines a philosopher's mindset of fearlessness and lucidity regarding the inner world, with the bold and free life of an explorer regarding the outer world.

This approach to life is best learned by traveling to places you never imagined could exist, and expanding your perception beyond limiting beliefs like: "I am my job," "Money defines me," and "The mysteries of life are gone."
I'm Justin Markowitz
Philosophy, writing, and serving others is my purpose in life.
I've spent much of my adult life traveling Asia, the seas, and Latin America. Traveling has changed me in more ways than I could possibly explain, but Mental Sweat Official is my project to share the transformations I've undergone as a result of my own Adventure Saga.
I love trekking through nature and back country camping (this year I've climbed a dozen volcanos), writing (check out my publications!), and helping others through promoting the Adventure Saga Philosophy.
